Čejov: Hotels and accommodations

The origins of Čejov are dated to the mid-13th century. At that time, the Teutonic Order temporarily controlled the region and began mining silver here.

History and culture

The historical sites listed in Čejov include the Vlkův vodní mlýn water mill in Hadina. The mill complex of Josef Vlk is recorded for the year 1932 as comprising a mill, a sawmill, and a shingle mill.

The chapel on Čejov village square is classified as an object of cultural and historical value.

Landscape and trails

There is a pond in the center of the village with a publicly maintained shoreline area that allows for recreational use. The U tří jezírek locality is designated as a significant landscape feature in Čejov.

The northern running route A passes through Čejov. A section of a marked hiking trail also runs along the southeastern edge of the cadastral area.

Activities

Behind the Čejov outdoor swimming pool, the cycling tour connects to cycle route no. 4155. It continues over Hozopíl Hill to the village of Hadina.

The Jezdecký klub GLOD Čejov offers riding lessons. A summer holiday camp takes place on the grounds of the Glod Čejov riding club.

Culture and landscape

The Orlík ruins are located in the vicinity of Čejov; Poláček Hill [Kejžlice] is also nearby. The Špičák and Melechov mountains, as well as the Želivský Kláštor monastery, are located in the surrounding area.
