Dobrá Voda u Pacova is located in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands (Českomoravská vrchovina), in the Vysočina Region and the Pelhřimov District. The village lies at the northern foot of the 675 m-high Jalový vrch.

Chapel and Memorial

The chapel in Dobrá Voda u Pacova houses an old bell dating from 1776. Once a year, a Mass is celebrated there during the pilgrimage for the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity. The village is also home to a memorial to the fallen of the First World War, commemorating eight residents who died in the war.

Routes

The 34.6 km circular cycling route “The Beautiful Nature from Pacov to Kámen Castle” leads from Kámen Castle to Dobrá Voda u Pacova and then continues to Tvrziny and Lhotka. Dobrá Voda u Pacova is the fourth stop on the route.

Events and Traditions

During the Keltský telegraf, the “Vrchy” hill above Dobrá Voda u Pacova serves as a signal point. The event gives participants the opportunity to meet, talk to one another and observe the night sky.

The traditional Setkání pod Jalovým vrchem took place for the 24th time on 2 August and attracts residents and visitors from the surrounding area every year. Another local tradition is the Dobrovodská zabijačka, a traditional community pig-slaughtering festival in Dobrá Voda u Pacova.
