Culture and History
The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary was originally Gothic; in 1718, it was rebuilt in the Baroque style. It is a simple Baroque building. Its entrance porch features an octagonal lantern with an onion-shaped dome. Inside is a pewter vessel for holy oil dating from 1788 and marked “SACHODIN”.
Zachotín’s sights also include a Baroque rectory. The Smírčí kámen stands on a blue-marked trail near Kladinský rybník. Its relief depicts a cross pattée and bears the year 1687.
Landscape and Nature
The Kladinský potok has been a 5.02-hectare nature reserve since 1993. Čihadlo lies in the immediate vicinity north of Zachotín, is 565 m high, and offers views of the surrounding landscape.

The surroundings of Zachotín include the Orlík ruins, Špičák Mountain, Putimovský vrch Mountain, Želivský Kláštor Monastery, Březina Mountain, Přední skála Mountain, and the Svatá Anna Church. The Janštejn ruins are located in the wider regional surroundings of Zachotín.
Road II/347 runs through Zachotín and is connected to Road I/34.
