Pelhřimov showcases architectural diversity along the Stezka po stavebních slozích: along a short route, it passes Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Cubist, Art Nouveau, Neoclassical and Functionalist architecture. Due to its architectural coherence, Pelhřimov was declared an urban heritage conservation area.

The Zámek pánů z Říčan houses the Muzeum Vysočiny Pelhřimov. The Freskový sál is the most representative room of the former Zámek pánů z Říčan. The Expozice Pelhřimov - historie - současnost features information panels, an interactive display with historical films about the Pelhřimov region, information on the development of the town coat of arms, and a three-dimensional model of the town's settlement.

The Městská šatlava presents a historical exhibition based on the authenticity of the site and extensive source material. The torture chamber of the Městská šatlava is equipped with original torture instruments and precise replicas; its furnishings correspond to the period from the 16th to the 18th century.

Experiences

The Muzeum strašidel displays ghosts and other supernatural beings that can be encountered in the Vysočina region in a cellar at Masarykovo náměstí. The Muzeum rekordů a kuriozit is the only museum of its kind in Central Europe. The tour Procházka českou knihou rekordů connects the Muzeum rekordů a kuriozit with Zlaté české ručičky.

The tower of the church of sv. Bartoloměje offers views of Pelhřimov and its surroundings from a height of 30 metres. The Naučná stezka Městské sady consists of twelve information panels distributed along a circular route almost 3 km long.

The nearby surroundings of Pelhřimov include Putimovský vrch mountain and the Svatá Anna church. The area also includes Orlov mountain, the Želivský Kláštor monastery, and the Špičák and Troják mountains.
