Koberovice: Hotels and Accommodations
Koberovice is located in the Křemešnická vrchovina, which is part of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. The relief is characterized by rolling hills and uplands and gradually transitions in the eastern foothills between Koberovice and Lísky into a landscape with deeply incised valleys. The area also contains several small water reservoirs.
Culture and History
Southwest of Koberovice lies Bělský dvůr, a registered immovable cultural monument and a Baroque rural estate dating from the 18th century. Bělský dvůr formerly belonged to one of the Želiv Monastery’s nine farmsteads. It is laid out as an enclosed square courtyard; Renaissance rusticated sgraffito is still visible on the façade of the residential building. The Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Koberovice dates from 1800.
Hiking and Cycling Trails
A marked hiking trail runs along the southern boundary of the Koberovice area. Cycle Route No. 1211 also runs through the lower part of the area along roads II/130 and III/12935 between Speřice and Miletín. The MTB Brúnka circular route passes through Koberovice and is 32.6 km long; around 80 % of the route follows forest and field paths.
Townscape
Koberovice has a relatively compact built-up structure with an extensive road network.
