Culture
The Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Buřenice is a late Baroque building dating from 1772. The church cemetery grounds include a mortuary chapel dating from 1775.
The village also features the original farmsteads House No. 17 and House No. 34, both retaining elements of vernacular architecture. The Church of St. Simon and St. Jude was founded in the second half of the 13th century; the church and its cemetery grounds have been protected as heritage sites since 1958.
The Church of Svatý Jan is located in the vicinity of Buřenice. In the wider regional area are Želivský Kláštor Monastery, the Orlík ruins and the Church of Svatá Anna.
