The centre of Bačice consists of two interconnected areas. One of them is a village green dominated by a chapel, around which original farmhouses are arranged in a circle.
The bell tower on the village green of Bačice is listed in the register of immovable cultural monuments. The cross behind Udeřice is also listed as an immovable cultural monument.
The Rabštejn ruins are located in the vicinity of Bačice. The Tempelštejn ruins are located in the wider regional area. The Church of Svatý Marek is also nearby.
Nature
The immediate surroundings of Bačice feature attractive natural areas with opportunities for fishing.
Stříbrná hora is located in the immediate vicinity of Bačice. The surrounding area also includes Skalný (GSM trans.), Záhoří and Babí hora mountains.
Myslibořice Castle Park is located in the immediate vicinity of Bačice.
Events
The Bačická pouť includes the traditional “zavádění” procession through the village, accompanied by the DUBŇANKA brass band.
A traditional “Pálení čarodějnic” (burning of the witches) takes place in Bačice–Udeřice. A Špekáček sausage is provided for children to roast.
On 22 March 2026, a procession with the Smrtolka through the village is planned in Bačice to welcome spring. From 3 to 12 April 2026, a “Velikonoční stezka” (Easter trail) will take place in Bačice. The activity “Pletení žil” (willow-wand weaving) is also scheduled there for 5 April 2026.
