Vlčatín: Hotels and accommodation
The Oslavička River flows through Vlčatín. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1296. Regional railway line No. 252 from Křižanov to Studenec runs through the built-up area; Vlčatín also has a railway stop.
Nature
North of the settlement is a notable viewpoint facing east. Northwest of Vlčatín lies a hill known as Hradisko, where the ramparts of a defunct fortification have been preserved.
The former fortified Hradisko was surrounded by a double ring of ramparts and ditches. Preserved sections and traces reveal their course, including in the southeast and northeast. The Vlčatín earthwork is heavily overgrown with regenerating vegetation and attracts only a few visitors.
History and culture
The Chapel of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary in Vlčatín was built in 1910 on the site of a bell tower dating from 1894. It was consecrated on 16 October 1911.
The memorial to Jan Zahradníček is located on Road No. 360 between Rudíkov and Oslavička, not far from the Rudíkov railway stop. The memorial plaque to Jan Zahradníček and the wayside shrine memorial were erected in 1992.
