Čechočovice: Hotels and accommodations
Čechočovice lies on the northern slope of Zadní hora and extends toward the valley of the Stařečský potok stream. The Markvartický potok stream also flows through the village. The location is therefore specifically shaped both by the slope and by the two watercourses.

Hiking and cycling
The Třebíčský okruh (Cesta Václava Vlastníka) is a 49.5-kilometre hiking trail marked with yellow tourist signs. Čechočovice is one of the places mentioned along this trail. In connection with the Třebíčský okruh, the village is listed as a bus stop.
Čechočovice is also connected with a cycling tour: The “Rozhledna Mařenka – menší okruh” tour passes through Stařeč, Čechočovice, Markvartice and Chlístov. After the railway crossing, this cycling tour joins cycle route 5212 in the direction of Stařeč.
History
The first written mention of Čechočovice dates from 1358 and is found in the Land Tables of Brno. At the same time, Čechočovice may have originated around the year 1300. In the 14th and 15th centuries, the village was an independent estate where the local vladyka nobility of the Lords of Čechočovice was based.
Tvrz Čechočovice was incorporated into the Brtnice domain in 1499. After that, it was no longer used as a residence and gradually fell into disrepair. Tvrz Čechočovice is not accessible.
