Nature and Water

The Třesov landing stage serves as a boarding and disembarking point. From there, boat trips can be combined with hikes or cycling tours on both sides of the Dalešice Reservoir.

The Třesov landing stage is located near the Stropešínský most between Třesov and Stropešín.

From Stropešín, a detour of approximately 500 metres to the Stropešínská vyhlídka viewpoint at the Dalešice Reservoir is recommended.

History and Culture

The settlement was first mentioned in writing in 1125 under the historical name Strupišin. Neolithic settlement in Stropešín is evidenced by finds of polished stone tools.

A local chapel probably dates from the second half of the 19th century and forms a distinctive landmark of the municipality of Stropešín.

The hamlet of Stropešínský mlýn, with a sawmill on the Jihlávka River, belonged to the municipality.

Structures and Connections

The Stropešínský most is 260 metres long. Its reinforced-concrete structure comprises three bridge spans and is supported by two piers; it was built in 1979.

Route 5107 continues from Stropešín to Dalešice.
