Jaroměřice Nad Rokytnou: Hotels and Accommodation

The Church of St Margaret is designated a national cultural monument and can be visited along two tour routes. One of them includes the upper galleries, an oratory, a model of the roof structure and the organ gallery. After climbing 82 steps, the church tower offers a bird’s-eye view of Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou and the chateau park.

The Otokar Březina Museum is located on the first floor of the house of the baker Vlček, where the poet lived from 1913 until his death. The Petra Dvorský International Music Festival also holds events in Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou: the venues are the Church of St Margaret and the Ancestral Hall of the chateau.

The chateau grounds combine a French garden with an English park. Its extensive section lies on the opposite side of the Rokytná stream. The Otokar Březina Museum also has a symbolic garden, which is open to visitors every day except Monday, from 9 to 11 a.m. and from 2 to 4 p.m.

Rokytná Nature Park was established in 1978 to preserve a landscape with rock outcrops, steep slopes and endangered plant and animal species.

The “Educational Trail through Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou” covers significant places in the town. These include frequently visited monuments, places not open to the public and sites that have already disappeared. The Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou Tourist Information Centre provides brochures about the town’s educational trails.

A yellow-marked hiking trail runs through Rokytná Nature Park and can also be used by mountain bikes.
