Nature
In the immediate surroundings of Komárovice are Špičák Mountain, Svatý Vít Mountain, Rudný Mountain, Srnčí vrch Mountain, and the Church of Svatá Markéta. In the wider regional area lies the Schloßberg ruin; the churches of U Svaté Magdalena and U Svatého Křiže are also located nearby.
Culture
The birthplace of Vincenc Lesný houses a memorial room dedicated to Vincenc Lesný. Some of his publications are also exhibited there.
Getting Around
Bus route 405 runs from Komárovice in the direction of Třebíč and Jemnice. Komárovice is also located on a 57.4-kilometre route between Moravské Budějovice and Jemnice.
Events
The fourth edition of the “Games of Friendly Municipalities” was announced in Komárovice for 22 August 2026 from 1:30 p.m. The local Sokol Hall was designated as the venue for the announced 2026 edition. Komárovice also hosts a summer entertainment event called “Pod kaštany”.
