Rybník Stejskal pond is located in the municipality of Zahrádka and is fed by the Maršovecký potok stream. It covers 12.57 hectares and is used mainly for fish farming and recreational purposes. Dubovec pond near Častotice is known for its numerous birds. Thirteen species of waders can be observed in the Náměšťské rybníky pond landscape.

Mount Horka lies in the immediate surroundings of Zahrádka. The surrounding area also includes Koní hora, Babí hora and Křemel.

Cycling and Hiking

The 10-kilometre route “Through the Oslava River Valley to the Ocmanice Lookout Tower” is suitable for cyclists and hikers. It leads from Naloučanský Mlýn, also known as Jeřábkův mlýn, along the Oslava Valley to Zahrádka, passes Dubovec pond and continues to the Ocmanice Lookout Tower.

Culture and Buildings

The Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius is an important building in Zahrádka. In the wider regional surroundings of Zahrádka are the ruins of Rabštejn, the ruins of Tempelštejn, Veveří Castle and the Church of Svatý Marek.
