Lipník: Hotels and accommodations

The Church of St. John the Baptist was originally built in the Romanesque style. It was later extended with a Gothic section.

The cultural life includes the Masopust procession, a Lipník tradition that has continued without any known interruption and today takes place mainly on Saturdays during the carnival season.

The Lipka Linden Festival begins with competitions for children and then continues with a program for adults. The pilgrimage festival in Lipník usually begins on the Saturday before Pilgrimage Sunday with the erection of a maypole.

About 1 km beyond Lipník, below the Kopyto pond, the ruins of the former Kopyto Mill are visible. The mill had already been abandoned in the 19th century.

The landscape around Lipník is characterized by agriculture and includes numerous ponds that are considered important landscape features.

At the southern, southeastern, and southwestern edges of the cadastral area of Lipník, forested areas merge into extensive forest complexes.

Cycling Route No. 3, “Into the Forests Beyond Lipník,” passes through Lipník and is 35 to 40 km long. In Lipník, it turns onto a long forest road.

The Kapalice forest pond has a tourist rest area and lies approximately in the middle of the forest area covered by Cycling Route No. 3.

On the main road, the route leads back toward Lipník via Odunec and Zárubice.
