Radošov is mentioned in a surviving record dating from 1365. A school was built in Radošov in 1888. The former general school building now serves as a cultural center.

Culture

The Chapel of Saint Giles is located southwest of Radošov near Vávrovecký rybník. In the wider regional surroundings of Radošov is the named site of Roštejn [Doupě], which is considered to be a castle. The Church of Saint Mark, Smetanovy sady Park, and the Church of Saint Margaret are also located there.

Nature and Water

Panský kopec and Hradiště are mountains in the wider regional surroundings of Radošov. The mountains Řehořovský vrch and Čechtínský kopec are also located near Radošov.

Vávrovecký rybník is located between Radošov and Horní Smrčné. Rybník Vavrovec near Radošov is visited by people from the wider surrounding area for swimming and recreation. Vávrovecký rybník has a small grass beach with a gently sloping entry into the water.

Events

The annual event “Do Radošova ke kapličce sv. Jiljí” invites tourists to the Radošov Cultural Center. The fifth edition took place on March 14, 2026, and was offered in both hiking and cycling formats. At the event, participants are provided with refreshments and live music at the Radošov Cultural Center.

Trails

On the “Radošov & Horní Smrčné” section of the “Rokštejnský okruh s návštěvou pivovaru,” the trail begins to descend toward the Brtnice Valley.
