Kramolín: Hotels and Accommodation

Kramolín Port is located approximately 200 metres from the dam of the Dalešice Reservoir and approximately 50 metres from the Kramolín Information Centre. There are several cycling and hiking trails near the Dalešice Reservoir. Cycle Route 5107 runs along the Dalešice Reservoir to the dam and Kramolín; Cycle Route 5108 leads to Kramolín through Popůvky.

The Dalešice pumped-storage hydroelectric power station was built between 1970 and 1978 in the territory of the municipality of Kramolín on the Jihlava River. There is an information centre at the pumped-storage hydroelectric power station, which is open to the public. The main attraction of the information centre at the Dalešice pumped-storage hydroelectric power station is a lit model of the pumped-storage hydroelectric power station.

Hradisko Kramolín contains traces of settlement dating from the Neolithic to the Middle and Late Hillfort periods. Today, it lies beneath the waters of the Dalešice Reservoir and is listed as a currently protected archaeological feature.

The stone Babylon Lookout Tower stands near Kramolín and is one of the oldest lookout towers in the Czech Republic. The Empire-style tower was built in 1831 by the owner of the Náměšť estate, Count Jindřich Vilém Haugwitz, for surveying purposes. Its observation room is 18 metres high and has windows, a telescope and a ceiling decorated with zodiac motifs.

Dřínová hora is a new nature reserve in the cadastral area of the municipality of Kramolín. The area of Dřínová hora is an important example of a mosaic structure made up of thermophilic forest communities and rocky steppe vegetation. No tourist infrastructure such as cycle paths or rest areas may be built in the Dřínová hora area; walks through the forest are compatible with the area.
