Culture
Pyšelská tvrz is privately owned and used for private purposes. The Church of Saint Barbara in Pyšel is a Neoclassical building dating from 1788; its exterior façade was extensively restored in 2008.
Pilgrimage
The annual pilgrimage at the Church of Saint Barbara takes place on the Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, 15 August. The chapel in Stráž has had its current appearance since 1935. Construction of the chapel began in 1901 at the site where an apparition of the Virgin Mary is said to have occurred in 1893. A small pilgrimage with Holy Mass takes place annually at the chapel in Stráž on the Feast of Pentecost.
Devotional Paths
The Stations of the Cross in Pyšel is an outdoor devotional path with 14 traditional stations. It begins at the local cemetery and leads uphill to Stráž Hill.
Its length is approximately comparable to the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem; the distances between the individual stations also correspond to those in Jerusalem.
