Zubří: Hotels and Accommodation

The Church of St. Catherine has been protected as a historic monument since May 3, 1958. As a building from the Josephine era, it has a three-nave floor plan unique in the Vsetín District, as well as built-in galleries.

Culture

The permanent exhibition of the Zubří Museum has been housed since 2016 in the publicly accessible repository at Hlavní ulice 824. It presents the history of Zubří and sought-after works by embroiderers from Zubří. The Zubří Museum also displays a remarkably extensive archaeological and mineralogical collection.

Every year, the Zubří Museum prepares several unique exhibitions. They present museum collections, local historical events, and works by artists and craftspeople from the region.

Nature and Trails

The “What the Aurochs in Zubří Remember” educational trail is approximately 7 kilometers long and has 9 stops. The surroundings of the Velký hamerský rybník pond, covering 5 hectares, and the Malý hamerský rybník pond, covering 3.5 hectares, offer opportunities for walks. The Hamerské rybníky ponds are the only remaining remnants of Zubří’s former ironworks.

From Zubří, you can join a route via a yellow-marked hiking trail that leads across the picturesque ridges of the Veřovické vrchy.
