Brzeszcze is the seat of the eponymous urban-rural municipality in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship and Oświęcim County.

History

Brzeszcze has war memorials and two former satellite camps of concentration camps that were established during the Nazi occupation. In addition, the municipality established a memorial trail in 2009.
