Mill technology takes centre stage at the Młyn Hilberta mill. Its complete, fully operational production line is used to produce flour, groats and bran. Visitors can follow the entire production process across all the mill’s floors. In November 2016, the Foundation for the Protection of Silesian Industrial Heritage took over the mill, converted it into a museum and opened it to visitors. A visit today therefore connects with the history of the building and how it was used.

Dzierżoniów also offers a range of ways to explore cultural history. The Dzierżoniowski Trakt Smoka is a tourist route covering the city’s most interesting buildings. Wielka Sowa is a 1,015-metre-high summit with a historic observation tower. Bielawa’s city park has a climbing course more than 200 metres long. Its varied obstacles include a zip line, a suspension bridge, a swing, a net and a climbing wall.
