Culture
The Rudăria watermills are powered by hydraulic energy from the water of the Rudăria River. The Eftimie Murgu Village Museum is an attraction for visitors to the Almăj Valley. The Eftimie Murgu parish also has a parish library.
These various cultural references can be considered separately: the watermills represent the use of the river’s power, while the museum, church and parish library each provide their own historical and local points of reference.
Nature
Rudăria Gorge is a nature reserve of national interest with four natural habitats and diverse flora and fauna, including some protected species. The Adam and Eve Rocks near Eftimie Murgu are a geological formation shaped by natural forces over time.
In the Valea Liliacului area, the Rudina peak at 870 m and Talva Gabrotului at 992 m shape the relief. There, the land drops 400–500 m to the Almăj Depression, which is characterized by terraces and hills. In the immediate surroundings of Eftimie Murgu are Rudina Mare Mountain and Cracul Zapot Mountain; nearby are Voivodina Mountain and Cracul Măncin Mountain.
The information on the protected area, geological formation, peak elevations and relief allows you to compare natural features by landscape form and spatial setting.

From National Road 57B Oravița–Bozovici–Băile Herculane, a 6.7 km paved road follows the Rudăria River to Eftimie Murgu. The tourist route from Rudăria was marked with a watermill symbol painted every 40–50 m.
As part of the Rudăria project, a 6 km tourist route was also planned in the village, with important information points and markings featuring the symbol of a watermill wheel. You can consider the different route lengths and markings separately when planning, as they describe the road connection and tourist route planning independently of each other.
