Roșu between Church, Forest and Culture

Roșu adds a specific cultural dimension: the parish church of Roșu is dedicated to Izvorul Tămăduirii. This makes the place a starting point from which ecclesiastical, historical, landscape and green topics can be considered separately. Culture

The “Izvorul Tămăduirii” Church in Roșu was reconsecrated after extensive consolidation, restoration and beautification works. The Roșu–La Pădure Bronze Age settlement lies on the right bank of the Dâmbovița, at the eastern edge of Roșu Forest. The “Traseu Sectorul 6 – Lacul Morii” route runs from Lacul Morii Island via Giuleşti Sârbi and Roșu Commune to Chiajna Commune. For your own selection, the clear sequence of the points mentioned helps distinguish a route from an event format.

For the park references, the spatial distinction is relevant: Drumul Taberei Park and Bazilescu Park are located in the closer vicinity of Roșu. For TTR RUN WEST, runs and training sessions were initially planned without fixed dates and times. They were to be announced regularly through the TIME TRIAL RUNNING, CHIAJNA ALEARGĂ and other running groups; their frequency depended on the runners’ interest and commitment. Most training sessions were to begin in the area of Podul Roșu or at the entrance to Dinamic Parc. As part of TTR RUN WEST, group runs and varied training sessions on different routes in Roșu were planned.

The different designations help distinguish the route, planned training sessions and group runs as separate formats. This creates a clear distinction between a route and the planned running activities.
