The commune of Dascălu lies in the Vlăsia Plain and is predominantly flat. Elevations range from 80 to 85 metres, while the slopes are only slightly inclined. This terrain differs in character from the more varied natural areas shaped by waterways, floodplains and forests.

The commune’s network of running waters includes the Mostiștea Valley and the Runcu Stream.
