Vadu Izei: River Landscape, Wooden Architecture and Crafts

Vadu Izei is located in northern Romania, in the Maramureș Depression of Maramureș County, at the confluence of the Iza and Mara rivers. The Iza River, part of its terraces and the Maramureș Hills in Vadu Izei belong to the Valea Izei–Dealul Solovan Natura 2000 site (RO SCI 0264).
