Malacky with Manor House, Museum and Zámocký Park
Malacky can be explored through its cultural history and clearly defined places to visit. The Manor House in Malacky was originally a Renaissance building and was constructed in 1624. Due to partial renovation, it is closed in 2026; it is expected to reopen in spring 2027.
Culture and Architectural History
The collection of the Michal Tillner Museum comprises more than 1,200 predominantly ethnographic objects. The museum also includes a partially modernized exhibition on oil lamps and wall clocks. Kostol Najsvätejšej Trojice is one of the oldest surviving buildings in Malacky; the church was built between 1574 and 1580 in the Renaissance style.
Another distinctive building is the synagogue in Malacky. It was built in the Moorish style and preserves richly ornamented stucco, a bimah or Torah ark, as well as a niche for storing Torah scrolls. One of the churches in Malacky also contains an exact copy of the Scala Santa.
Visits
During the week, you can visit the crypts beneath the Franciscan church by registering by telephone or email, provided that registration is made and confirmed at least one day in advance. Alternatively, the visit can be registered during opening hours at the tourist information office. Around forty prominent members of the Pálffy family, Franciscans, and wealthier residents of the town and its surroundings are buried in the crypts.
A guided tour of the synagogue is planned through the local art school; the visit is to be announced and booked at least one day in advance.
Park and Trails
Zámocký Park covers 30 hectares. It offers opportunities for walking, a new outdoor fitness center, running paths and a football field. The park is accessible by bus and train.
The Duklianskych hrdinov–Na majeri cycle route starts at the entrance to Zámocký Park opposite Fytopharma. It runs along Duklianskych hrdinov Street, past the hospital and via Rakárenská Street. On the other side of the motorway, it continues to the Na majeri area.
Events
In March, Malacky regularly hosts the music event Malacká hudobná jar.
Compare Accommodation
Included services, individual price components, and the applicable booking and cancellation policies are equally important. This keeps the differences between the offers transparent, without requiring you to assume anything about the facilities, price or availability. The question of which services are actually included in the price and which costs are listed separately is also part of this comparison. When reviewing the conditions, it is worth looking at deadlines, possible fees and the rules for changes or cancellations. In addition, you can check for each offer how many people it is listed for, what type of accommodation is specified and whether the location details are clearly worded. Such a comparison clearly distinguishes the individual price components and conditions from one another.
