Kebelj lies on a gently sloping hillside in the southeastern part of the Pohorje Mountains. The Čadramski potok stream rises above Kebelj. It once powered numerous mills and sawmills.

Culture

The frescoes in St. Marjeta Parish Church in Kebelj date from 1750. Roman stones remained visible there after the exterior renovation in 2003. The parish church can be visited by prior arrangement.
