In the Astraviec District, the Sarochany Lakes form an 18-kilometre chain of 14 glacial lakes connected by the Sarochanka River. They form the core of a republican landscape reserve of the same name.

Astravets' architectural sights include the Church of Saints Cosmas and Damian, built in 1787, and the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, built in 1911.
