The ski slopes in Rostovo have a grass surface and are equipped with a snowmaking system. Floodlights enable night skiing there. Ski equipment is available for hire at the Rostovo ski centre. In addition, the Babići Ethno Village and Hotel Rostovo each have a ski equipment shop. There is a café-bar at the foot of the ski lifts. Kalin also shapes the landscape around Rostovo. The Rostovo–Kalin hiking route is classified as moderately difficult. A marked hiking trail to the summit of Kalin begins at Hotel Rostovo, while the trail from Hotel Rostovo to Kalin leads through deciduous and coniferous forests as well as birch groves. The highest peak of Kalin reaches 1,530 metres above sea level. The Orlovina summit of Kalin offers views of the Vranica massif. There is also a spring at the foot of the Kalin summit.

Rostovo is connected to Bugojno by a paved road and lies on the Bugojno–Novi Travnik route. This road connection is just as much a part of the local character as the paths leading from the hotel into the forest and mountain landscape.

Rostovo has a small ethnographic exhibition with old houses, carriages and tools. The Babići Ethno Village showcases rural cultural heritage with authentic forges, stables, granaries and domestic animals. Guests can hire mountain bikes there and ride sledges through the village in winter. The Babići Ethno Village and Hotel Rostovo also offer a ski school.
