Trnovo – Hiking Trails, Glacier Lakes and Culture
Trnovo is situated at an altitude of 850 metres in the hilly landscapes of Treskavica and Jahorina. Treskavica has five glacier lakes located above 1,500 metres and considered a hiking attraction. On Treskavica, hiking trails connect peaks, lakes, springs and viewpoints; trails of varying difficulty allow for hiking there year-round. Nature

The Trnovo hunting ground belongs to the Sarajevo-Romanija mountainous hunting region.
The “Stazama Belog vuka” route leads from Rajski Do via the Sustavac mountain lodge to the summit of Kozljen. The “Stazama Belog vuka” memorial hike was organised for the fifth time.
Culture
The Church of the Holy Great Martyr George in Trnovo was built in 1886. The Trnovo Mosque was built in 1565 by its founder and waqf, Muslihuddin. Petrovdanski Dani Kulture takes place every year in June and July on the occasion of Trnovo Municipality Day. The traditional Petrovdanske sports games are part of the Petrovdanske celebrations in Trnovo.
Regional Traditions
At the Kotlić Festival, visitors can experience the preparation of traditional dishes at the Keki picnic area in Rajski Do. Hand-picked wild blueberries from Treskavica and Jahorina are a seasonal product of the Trnovo region.
