Boazat is situated in the valley of the Gradnishka River, also called the Boazka, which is a right tributary of the Vidima. The mountain landscape around Boaza and the hamlet of Delak is described as featuring open meadows and the prominent Levi Vrah.

Routes

The municipal road GAB1165 passes through Boazat. It runs north via Stolat to Sevlievo and south to Apriltsi. The connection from the Sevlievo area through Boazat toward Apriltsi is described as being 20.2 kilometers long. GAB1165 is also described as providing access to cultural and historical monuments, natural sites, and places for tourism and recreation.

The Vodnite Dupki route leads to the Severen Dzhendem reserve and the Vodnite Dupki Cave. It begins in the Vidima district of Apriltsi and can be reached via an asphalt road as far as the Mazaneto area. The road at the Vidima hydroelectric power plant junction leads toward the Vidima Praskalo eco-educational trail.

Culture and Development

The Gradnishki Boaz memorial complex is located approximately four kilometers south of Boazat and commemorates rebels who were killed in fighting in the area in 1876.

A proposed integrated investment project includes Boazat on GAB1165 in the highlands. This proposed project is expected to improve transport connections between the settlements and support mass sports and tourism.

Visitor Information

The Forest Interpretation Complex offers an outdoor exhibition about the forests of Central Balkan National Park and is suitable for a day trip. The complex includes tables, benches, and fire pits; the facilities are accessible in suitable hiking weather. From there, visitors can continue to the interpreted Waterholes route and the Pleven Hut.

Passage through this protected area is restricted to marked routes; leaving the trails is not permitted.
