Valevtsi: Hotels and Accommodation

Nature

The Central Balkan buffer zone extends across parts of Valevtsi's land area within the municipality of Sevlievo. It protects natural habitats and species, including mammals, amphibians, reptiles, fish, invertebrates, and plants.

Cycling

Cycling routes around Sevlievo are concentrated in the foothills and the Balkan Mountains. They lead towards Apriltsi, the Balkan Range, and Gabrovo. In some areas, cycling is permitted only on designated roads and trails or is exclusively recommended there.

The Valevtsi–Troentsi–Byala River route initially crosses the Rositsa River and then follows the Byala River. It passes through Troentsi and continues across meadows with views of the main Balkan Range. Its main descent includes several sections with smooth rock. The route is described as taking one to three hours and is considered suitable from spring to autumn, provided there is no snow cover.

The Lagat–Osenikova Polyana–Kupen–Valevtsi route passes through the Rositsa State Hunting Enterprise.

Orientation

The longer route begins in Lagat above Valevtsi. Lagat can be reached via a paved road; parking spaces are available there. There is also a drinking-water fountain in Lagat.
