Brajkovići: Hotels and Accommodation

Cuisine

When the weather is fine, tastings at Radanović take place beneath two centuries-old oak trees; in cold or rainy weather, they are held in a tasting hall with 30 seats. Vina Radanović recommends its Teran 2022 with oily fish, red-meat dishes and mature cheeses.

Culture

Trviž is a protected cultural and historical ensemble. Brajkovići belongs to the parish area of Trviž. Near Brajkovići, the Church of Saint Peter in Trviž dates back to the 11th or 12th century. It features preserved nave walls as well as remnants and fragments of frescoes; during conservation work in 2004, a Gothic custodia was also discovered. The church also has a Glagolitic inscription.

Vinarija Radanović launched the Festival vina & poezije in 2022; it was held there for the second time. The festival promotes literary creation and literary expression in the Chakavian dialect. Its competition brings together poems about wine, winemaking and Istrian tradition.

Wine&Music at Radanović combines live music with drinking wine beneath the night sky of central Istria; the event has been organised for several years.

The Off-road Arena Buići Pazin–Trviž is listed among the options for off-road, enduro and quad tours in central Istria. For Brajkovići, the spatial plan of the City of Pazin designates a sports and recreation area marked R1, covering 1.90 hectares; 0.28 hectares are listed there as developed and 1.62 hectares as undeveloped.
