Culture and history

Veli Ježenj is home to the restored birthplace of Juraj Dobrila, which houses a permanent exhibition entitled “Dr. Juraj Dobrila – život i djelo”, curated by the Pazin City Museum.

Southeast of Ježenj, in Pazin Field, lies the parish church of St. Lucy. It was built in the 16th century and has a porch and a bell gable with two bells.
