Near Anžići, below Muntajana Hill, lie the remains of an Early Byzantine church excavated in 1972 and 1975. The archaeological finds include mosaic floors, architectural sculpture, and church furnishings; stylistic comparisons date the church to the mid-6th century.

In the area surrounding Anžići are Dvigrad Castle, Gruja Vrh, Veliki Breg, and the Church of St. Mary on Škriljine. Sveti Ivan is located in the immediate vicinity of Anžići. In the wider regional area are the Soardo-Bembo Palace, Kobiljak, and Trba.
