Wine

The Peršurić family has been involved in winegrowing for more than five centuries. Đordano Peršurić, the founder of Misal sparkling wine production, returned to Pršurići and began producing still wines together with his father.

Misal’s vineyards in Pršurići are located at an altitude of 230 metres, cover 5 hectares and are situated on red soil. Misal sparkling wines are produced through traditional bottle ageing; the local grape varieties used include Malvasia and Teran. Misal’s tasting room has a capacity of 25–30 people.

All visits to the Misal sparkling wine producer in Pršurići must be booked in advance. Visits are offered on weekday mornings, as well as on Saturdays by appointment; the producer is closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Nature

Nearby is Sovina staza, a 7.7 km circular hiking trail for families. The trail includes two viewpoints overlooking the sea and the Ćićarija.

Cycling routes

An underpass in Pršurići is connected to the Parenzana hiking and cycling route. In the municipality to which Pršurići belongs, the Parenzana route has been equipped with directional signs for cyclists and pedestrians since 2002.

The Vrsar–Višnjan–Parenzana–Poreč–Funtana–Vrsar cycling route recommends the Misal sparkling wine cellar in Pršurići as a stop. After Višnjan, this cycling route connects to the Parenzana cycle path towards Poreč; towards Višnjan, it continues via Jehnici, Pršurići and Bačva.

In the municipality of Višnjan, to which Pršurići belongs, visitors can discover historical heritage, food and drink from local producers, as well as opportunities for stargazing.
