Čakovičky: Hotels and Accommodation

Around 1617, several agricultural farmsteads with large inner courtyards were built around the village pond. To the east of the pond is a public green space with mature trees; a bell tower stands on a green island near the pond. Čakovičky lies in an agricultural landscape suitable for growing sugar beet and barley.

Culture and History

A carnival procession takes place in Čakovičky every year. A traditional skittles tournament is held during the pilgrimage. The local chapel is dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul. The chapel on the road to Kojetice was repaired in 2006.

On the eastern edge of the cadastral area of Čakovičky stands a memorial cross with a figure of Christ, which was restored in 2008. The immediate surroundings of the monument were cleared and refurbished for the 90th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia. By the pond, beneath mature trees, stands a monument to the municipality’s citizens who fell in the First World War.
