Culture and History

Vysoká was mentioned in 1227; a church is documented there from 1352. The present church dates from 1752–1753 and was built according to a design by the architect A. Lurago.

Vysoká is also home to an Evangelical church. It is a protected monument and houses an exhibition about tolerance communities and houses of worship.
