Daleké Dušníky: Hotels and accommodations

Daleké Dušníky is first mentioned in a document from 1357, by which the Bohemian king and Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV founded the collegiate chapter at Karlštejn. The Chapel of the Holy Trinity dates from 1874.

A red-marked hiking trail runs through Daleké Dušníky. The surrounding area is also suitable for hiking. To the east of the village lies a densely forested hilly landscape that is particularly popular with avid mushroom pickers.

An old lime tree stands in the northern part of Daleké Dušníky and is considered the oldest tree in the municipality. There is a cross and a stone terrace beside it. The pond near Holobrády is within sight of the old lime tree in the north of Daleké Dušníky. The fire pond in the direction of Nečín is used as a bathing spot in summer.

On Maundy Thursday, Daleké Dušníky maintains the old tradition of Easter rattling: rattles replace the bells, and participants walk together through the village. In good weather, people meet at the fire station and grill their own sausages there.

A maypole is put up at the chapel every year. A small fire with a witch figure is then lit, after which people sit together around the fire. Organizing a carnival procession is also part of local community life in Daleké Dušníky.
