Tušovice: Hotels and Accommodation
In Tušovice, the green Tušílkova stezka trail is aimed primarily at families with small children. It is 2.9 km long and has 11 playful stations.
The orange Tušílkova stezka – nové osudy trail is 3.3 km long and has 12 predominantly educational stations. Both Tušílkova stezka trails run through gently sloping terrain along paved paths and forest trails and are therefore suitable for sports strollers. At the beginning of the Tušílkova stezka trail, next to the multifunctional sports field, there is a small car park for up to six cars.
Activities
Cycle route 8212 runs via Řeteč, Tušovice, Tochovice and Třebsko.
Tušovický kapřík is a recurring fishing event. The 12th edition took place at the upper pond in 2026 and included entertaining and skill-based games, fishing and light refreshments. The Tušovické osmičky firefighters’ competition includes categories for men, women and children.
History and Culture
Tušovice was first mentioned in 1359 and was owned at that time by the vladyka Ondřej z Tušovic. In 1544, a fortified manor with an estate and the village of Tušovice were owned by Elena z Tušovic.
There are Slavic burial grounds on Tušovický vrch south of Tušovice and near Hrobice north of the village. A bell tower stands in Tušovice village square.
Until the end of the 20th century, Tušovičky preserved its fully intact village settlement structure and is considered one of the most valuable rural settlements in the Příbram and Březnice area.
