Nature

The Lesní naučná stezka Dřísy nature trail is 1.3 km long and has 10 stations with 12 elements on the subject of forestry. It begins at the edge of the forest behind the football field. At Kozí plácek, there is a rest area for relaxing or having refreshments.

Culture

The Chapel of the Beheading of St. John the Baptist is currently designated as a national cultural monument. It is a central octagonal chapel with a mansard roof and a copper-clad octagonal lantern. The restoration work was completed in 2002; the chapel was reconsecrated that year.

In the center of Dřísy stands the Chapel of St. John of Nepomuk, with a brick tower dating from 1837.

The statue of St. Wenceslas associated with Dřísy depicts the saint crushing grapes with a wooden pestle in a wooden tub. It is listed in the Central Register of Cultural Monuments.

The Chapel of St. Ludmila in a niche is connected by a historic pilgrimage route to the Baroque Chapel of the Beheading of St. John the Baptist; the route then continues to this chapel. The municipality’s aim was to restore the historic connection to the Svatováclavská vineyard. This connection leads from the statue of St. Wenceslas via the Chapel of St. Ludmila in a niche to the Baroque Chapel of the Beheading of St. John the Baptist at the foot of Cecemín.

The Svatováclavská vineyard is located in the municipality of Dřísy and still bears the name Svatováclavská, after St. Wenceslas. The area along the historic connection to the Svatováclavská vineyard invites visitors to go walking and cycling and offers beautiful nature, peace, and unobstructed views of the surrounding countryside.

Dřísy has bus connections to Prague and Stará Boleslav, as well as a train connection to Mělník.
