Water and History

The first major diving course at Hřiměždice Quarry took place in 1959 under the direction of experienced instructors who had gained their experience in Germany. At the quarry, SVAZARM established a training center for military and police divers.

The Highjump event, featuring jumps into the water, has been held annually since 2000 around the turn of July and August. Since 2001, there has been a large swing at the former helicopter site at Hřiměždice Quarry.

Culture

Hřiměždice Chateau is a simple single-story building in the Classical Baroque style and is first mentioned in 1788.

The Church of St. Anne was built in 1797. It has a single nave and features a presbytery that is closed on three sides on the exterior, as well as a tower with a bell-shaped roof. Part of its interior furnishings comes from the former Pauline monastery in Obořiště.

Near the church stands a statue of Saint John of Nepomuk on the bridge over the stream flowing through the municipality.
