Husí Lhota: Hotels and Accommodation
The Chapel of St. Anne was built in 1823 on the village green of Husí Lhota, with financial support from the residents of Husí Lhota and Jan Tichý. It was expanded in 1908 and used communally from 1923. The bell tower next to the chapel was built in 1862 and remains unchanged to this day.
Culture and Local History
A hunting lodge in Husí Lhota was built in 1849 and stands at the present-day house number 3. Also in 1849, two farmsteads were built in Husí Lhota, both of which are still standing today. The “Poplužní dvůr” was the founding building of Husí Lhota.
Community events are also part of the area’s traditional history: The traditional 38th gathering of the Lehòty and Lhot took place from 5 to 8 July 2018 in Dlouhá Lhota and was jointly organized by Dlouhá Lhota and Husí Lhota.
Location and Transport
Husí Lhota is located about 11 km from Mladá Boleslav in the direction of Jičín. The village is also situated near Český ráj. The Husí Lhota bus stop is served by PID routes 714 and 736.
Landscape
The landscape around Husí Lhota also has a historical side: In the past, the forests on the northern side reached as far as the buildings of the village of Husí Lhota. Some ponds in Husí Lhota have survived to this day.
Routes and Events
The 51 km, very easy MTB loop route “Ml. Boleslav–Branžež–Dlouhá Lhota–Ml. Boleslav” passes through Husí Lhota. The route of the ŠKODA CLASSIC TOUR also passed through Husí Lhota. This event is organized annually by an automobile manufacturer from Mladá Boleslav for its employees.
