Culture and Townscape

The historic center of Jeneč is characterized by a Baroque agricultural farm complex at the intersection of two roads; this intersection forms a longitudinal village square. The farm complex on the village square, house number 8, is listed under the state heritage register number 16257/2-2253. The listed complex includes two administrative buildings, a farm building, and a niche chapel.

In the eastern part of the village square, characterized by tall trees, stands a Baroque niche chapel with a relief of the Descent from the Cross. The former post station in Jeneč is a detached two-story building with a rectangular floor plan and a pentagonal façade articulated by six pilasters with Composite capitals. The wall of the bell tower in Jeneč is decorated with a 2.5-meter-high cast-iron cross bearing a polychrome figure of Christ.
