Jeviněves: Hotels and accommodations

On the Jevín promontory above Jeviněves, the remains of the walls of a former castle and later fortress have been preserved.

History and trails

The Dvořákova Trail follows the historic Prague–Dresden trade route. In Jeviněves, it runs below Jevín, passing the old well structure. A red-marked hiking trail also runs through Jeviněves from Roudnice nad Labem via the summit of Říp to Mlčechvost and Kralupy.

The fortified site of Hrádek comprises a cross ditch and a short, high rampart; medieval masonry and pottery were identified in the southern rampart.

Wells and wine

A well built around 1900 below Jevín is fed by a spring at the foot of the hill. The municipality maintains the well, which still serves the local residents today.

Jeviněvské vinařství offers guided wine tastings for groups of one to 30 people. At Jeviněvské vinařství, wine can be tasted in the cellar, the bottling room, on the outdoor terrace, in Kozí chlívek or in Maštal.
