Křesetice: Hotels and accommodation

Kostel sv. Markéty is a Gothic church from the 14th century, is considered the oldest building in Křesetice, and stands on a hill above the village. The protected complex includes the church, a crypt, a mortuary, a perimeter wall with a gate, and an access staircase. The crypts of the owners of the Křesetice estate are located beneath the floor of Kostel sv. Markéty.

Several Baroque sandstone statues stand at prominent points in the village and its immediate surroundings: the statue “socha sv. Barbory” dates from 1720 and stands behind the village near the sports field. “socha sv. Šebestiána” dates from the first half of the 18th century and stands in the village center near house no. 140. Václava” dates from 1750 and stands on the road to Úmonín.

The protected monument Zámek čp. 1 comprises a former fortress and a perimeter wall.

Křesetice is located in the gently rolling terrain of the Kutná Hora Plateau; the terrain generally rises toward the south to southwest.

Road II/337 runs through Křesetice toward Uhlířské Janovice, Čáslav, Ronov nad Doubravou, Nasavrky, and Skuteč. Regular bus services operate to the municipality of Křesetice.
