Nature and Surroundings
Starkočský lom is a paleontological locality and the only known occurrence of the coral Isis miranda in the Czech Republic. It is also a mineralogical locality with large almandine grains and crystals. Čertův důl is listed as a destination for an excursion in Starkoč.
