Komárov: Hotels and Accommodations

Culture

The Komárov Cast-Iron Museum is located at Nám. Otty z Losu 15, in the post office building. The Komárov ironworks gained worldwide recognition for their cast-iron artworks at the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th centuries.

Nature

The Okolím Komárova educational trail is approximately 10.5 kilometers long and has 12 stations. It is a circular route that starts and ends in the square in Komárov. The trail follows the Červený potok stream and ponds toward the Brdy forests and is dedicated to the history of the town, local mining, iron processing, blacksmithing, and natural sights.

In the immediate vicinity of Komárov are the Valdek ruins and Hřeben Mountain. The surrounding area also includes Beran Mountain, Hejlák Mountain, Holý vrch Mountain, and the U Svatého Petra Church.

Exploration
