Trubín: Hotels and Accommodation

In the northern part of Trubín lies the 4.12-hectare Trubínský vrch nature monument. The summit and southern slope consist of basalt (diabase), which belongs to the Ordovician volcanic complex of Komárov.

Nature and Geology

Trubínský vrch features a typical and well-preserved diabase rock steppe with a species-rich flora and fauna. The hill is considered one of the best exposures of volcanic rocks of the Komárov complex. It is also a habitat of the critically endangered stiff garlic and Czech pasqueflower.

Trubínský vrch lies approximately 300 m northwest of Trubín, on the steep southern slope of Kazatelna Hill.

Protection and Access

The western part of Trubín lies within the Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area. Trubín is also located within the Barrandien National Geopark.

An accessible hiking trail leads from the road to Trubínský vrch; however, public access to the protected area is subject to the consent of AOPK ČR.

Culture and History

The Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk is located in Trubín. A proto-Eneolithic causewayed enclosure with passageways was also discovered in the village.

Events

The Pálení čarodějnic festival is traditionally held regularly in Trubín. Májová zábava begins on 16 May 2026 at 8 p.m. at Trubínská stodola in Trubín and is billed as a dance, disco and rock event.
