In the immediate vicinity of Konětopy is Cecemín SE [Všetaty], a hill. The surrounding area also includes Hostinná [Hostín u Mělníka], V Mikově [Malý Újezd], and Na Černavě [Chotětov-Hřivno], each a hill.

Jezero Konětopy offers pleasant surroundings for summer recreation. Swimming and sunbathing are available at Jezero Konětopy. Fishing is possible at both lakes of Jezero Konětopy during a large part of the year.
Cycle route No. 8162 runs in a north–south direction along existing roads through Hostín, Košátky, Konětopy, Dřísy, and Lhota.
On June 29, 2025, a paddleboard rental service was open next to the ticket office at Jezero Konětopy.
