Rataje Nad Sázavou-Malovidy: Hotels and Accommodation

The museum in Rataje Castle features an exhibition on Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It also has a permanent exhibition on the historical and architectural development of Rataje, including the development of settlement and an archaeological section.

The branch church of St. Matthew in Rataje nad Sázavou was rebuilt and consecrated on September 21, 1691. The Chateau Schenk is located on the ground floor of the northern wing of the castle. It offers hot and cold drinks as well as comfortable non-smoking seating.

Pirkštejn Castle was founded in the 14th century by Jindřich z Lipé on a rocky promontory above the Sázava. Hiking trails pass by the castle; it is open to the public only occasionally. Various musical performances and poetry celebrations take place at Pirkštejn. Tomáš Jamník’s Academy of Chamber Music regularly holds classical concerts there.

The approximately 30-kilometre cycling route 3/C runs from Sázava via Talmberk and Rataje nad Sázavou, as well as other places, back to Sázava.

The “In the Footsteps of Henry from Kingdom Come: Deliverance” route begins in Rataje nad Sázavou and ends in Sázava. It is 14 kilometres long and takes approximately 4.5 hours.
